Jada Pinkett Smith Seemingly Speaks Out After The Chris Rock Joke And Slap

Jada Pinkett Smith has broken her silence two days after Chris Rock made a joke about her shaved head and Will Smith slapped him in her defense.

The “Red Table Talk” host posted on her Instagram account, “This is the season for healing and I’m ready for it.”

It is unclear if Jada Pinkett Smith is referring to what is now being called the “slap heard across the world” or the joke that Rock made about her.

During the Oscars on Sunday, the comedian took the stage to present an award, however, things took a turn when Rock made a joke about Jada’s shaved head referencing her to be the star of the G.I. Jane 2.

Will then walked onto the stage and slapped Rock in the face and yelled at him, “keep my wife’s name out of your f**king mouth.”

Smith would apologize later that night during his acceptance speech for winning the Best Actor award for his role in the film “King Richard”. He also issued a public apology to Chris Rock on his Instagram page.
