Hollywood’s biggest names took over New York’s Radio City Music Hall for MTV’s VMAs, and they set NYC on fire.
Cardi B kicked off the show – pretending like she was going to finally share Kulture with the world – with performances from Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande and more to follow. While those performances lit up the venue, it was Jennifer Lopez’s bedazzled set that brought the audience at Radio City to its feet.
J Lo hit the stage in a glistening blue and gold outfit, bellowing the words to her 1999 single, “Waiting for Tonight.” She then strutted across the stage as she performed “Get on the Floor,” “Get Right,” “Jenny From the Block,” and “I’m Real.” New York’s Ja Rule even joined her to help bring the classics to life.
And we can’t forget DJ Khaled’s cameo for her latest single, “Dinero.”
J Lo’s boyfriend A-Rod was also in the building, and he was watching her performance with his jaw dropping the entire time.
