Earlier this month, Murray was photographed watching Kelis perform at the Mighty Hoopla festival in South London.
The internet was set ablaze after the photo of the ‘Milkshake’ singer and actor Murray went viral over the weekend. Murray is nearly 30 years her senior at 72-years old while Kelis 43-years old.
In addition to this festival, per the US Sun, Murray was also spotted supporting her at some of her other performances.
On Jun 10, Kelis posted a photo of herself wearing a multicolored bikini with the caption, “I’m a beach bum.”
In the comments section underneath the photo, an Instagram user wrote, “bill got u out here riding his wave,” adding, “media is destroying y’all lol.”
She responded, “lol yeah maybe for now everyone’s dumb and will believe anything but the best part is we are both blessed, rich and happy. So who’s really laughing. Now thats funny.”
Another fan who commented, “Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?!?” Kelis replied, “Lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.”
Kelis has three kids: Knight, Shepherd, and Galilee. She welcomed her first child, Knight, in July 2009 with then-husband Nas. She had her second and third child, Shepherd, 6 and Galilee, 2 with her late husband, Mike Mora, in December 2015. Mora passed away on March 14, 2022, when he lost his battle with cancer.
Murray and Kelis have reportedly bonded since Mike Mora’s passing, while Bill’s estranged wife passed away in 2021.
