Mayor Eric Adams Tests Positive For COVID-19

It has been confirmed that New York City Mayor Eric Adams has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement released on Sunday afternoon, Adams’ press secretary said, “This morning, Mayor Adams woke up with a raspy voice and, out of an abundance of caution, took a PCR test that has now come back positive.” 

The statement went on to say, “At this time, the mayor has no other symptoms, but he is already isolating and will be canceling all public events for the remainder of the week.” Levy also stated that Mayor Adams is currently taking antiviral medications to help him fully recover. 

Mayor Eric Adams is fully vaccinated and will be isolated at Gracie Mansion and will work remotely until further notice.
