Miguel Launches New Partnership with TikTok

The R&B superstar Miguel has been a major figure in the music industry for over a decade now. Recently, the artist has started a partnership with TikTok, creating a new global music discovery platform. The service is called #NewMusic, and it specializes in promoting new songs from artists on the platform. It also highlights Miguel as a prominent figure regarding the hub and his involvement in the service. 

Miguel started trending on TikTok due to his 2011 hit “Sure Thing,” resurfacing. He also praised the service by previewing his new song, “Give It To Me,” for TikTok users.

Paul Hourican, TikTok’s global lead for music and partnerships, said “We are thrilled to launch the #NewMusic Hub, which celebrates and champions artists of all genres, from up-and-coming talent to international superstars.”

He continued, “TikTok is already a destination for artists who want to preview their newest works, and for music fans looking to discover new music, and this new feature will give artists a new way to connect with our global community.”

Hourican added, “It presents an exciting opportunity to inspire artist creativity, spark connections, and foster a diverse musical landscape that embraces the unique talents and passions of artists and fans worldwide.” 

Miguel and TikTok’s #NewMusic will be a revolutionary tool for artists to connect with each other worldwide. Other notable artists that are involved in the new platform are the Jonas Brothers and Niall Horan from One Direction.
