Looks like our girl Gayle King have snagged a really big deal!
According to reports, the CBS host’s salary has increased drastically. She was making $5.5 million at the network; however after her interview with R. Kelly that went viral she decided to renegotiate her contract. And she got exactly what she asked for!
The Jasminebrand.com reveals that King will continue her position as host of CBS This Morning, but she will now be getting $11 million annually, doubled from her previous $5.5 million salary. As part of a massive overhaul of CBS This Morning and the network’s evening news broadcasts, King will stay on CBS This Morning, while her co-host Norah O’Donnell will leave the show and is set to take over as anchor of CBS Evening News, effectively pushing Jeff Glor out of the position.
