The Rewind with L'Oréal Luchi, filling in for Jus Nik, keeping you informed on everything that happened in the culture this week:

Brittney Griner:

After 10 months in a Russian prison, Brittney Griner is be back on American soil. In exchange for her release, the U.S. government will send convicted international arms dealer Viktor Bout back to Russia.

Bill Cosby:

Moving on, former favorite American dad, Bill Cosby, was hit with more sexual assault allegations. Five women that worked on The Bill Cosby show, claim that from 1969-1992, Bill took advantage of them. Cosby denied the allegations. He was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2018 and sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison. In 2021, his conviction was overturned after it was ruled that his due process rights were violated.

Keke Palmer:

Keke Palmer was spotted out, wearing no makeup, and weird internet trolls said she "looked ugly" with her natural face. In response, Keke Tweeted, "I really want y'all to get the help y'all need because makeup isn't real. I'm beautiful in real life, because of who I am, not what I look like." The triple threat movie star also revealed she's pregnant during her SNL hosting debut. She's expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson. Congratulations!

Kanye West:

Another week, another crazy comment from Kanye. The mentally unstable rap star sat with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, & urged Jewish people to forgive Adolf Hitler. Kanye has seemingly been on an Antisemtic tour for the last few months, spewing controversial comments anywhere someone will give him a platform. Kanye admitted to loving Hitler & nazis. Do you think he needs to be placed under a conservatorship?

Nia Long:

Nia Long is moving ON! After being together for 13 years, Nia ended her relationship with Ime Udoka following his wild cheating scandal that resulted in him getting suspended from his position as Boston Celtics head coach. As of now, Nia is focused on co-parenting their 11-year-old son. She's also starring in a new movie called Missing, which hits theaters on January 20th. Check out the trailer:
