Nick Cannon Signs Overall Deal with FOX, Creating Late-Night Show [VIDEO]

Nick Cannon is expanding is television presence beyond his hilarious Wild’n Out sketch comedy series, and joining FOX to create a new “topical late-night series.”

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reports Cannon and The Talking Dead producer, Michael Davies, are developing an “untitled project” to “cover pop culture and feature high-profile celebrity interviews, music performances and stand-up comics.”

The comedian’s longtime manager, Michael Goldman, will join Cannon in executive producing the project.

Cannon’s show is “an extension” of a larger FOX signing deal that will include Cannon and Davies joining “Fox’s digital team to curate online segments to be distributed via social media.”

The Wild’n Out host is also up to host the soon-to-be independent networks upcoming celebrity competition show, The Masked Singer.
