Payless is the recent chain of retail stores that will be going out of business.
The company announced that all of its 2,100 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico will be closing in the coming months including its online store will also be shut down. The company originally filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April 2017 which led to them closing 400 stores at the time.
According to CNN, Payless is the latest retailer to succumb to the age of Amazon and will be joining Toy “R” Us, Brookstone, and, Charlotte Russe which is set to close soon.
The liquidation sale at all Payless stores will begin on Sunday, Feb. 17.
