Omarion‘s latest single, “Serious,” a track from his seventh solo studio album, ‘Full Circle: Sonic Book One, is a testament to the enduring power of love.

Months after dropping the single “Serious,” Omarion has returned with the official music video.

Co-directed by the singer and Deji LaRay, the video showcases the fancy footwork and silky vocals that have kept him in the game for over 20 years. In the video, the Omarion portrays a prison inmate who finally reunites with his significant other after an extended period of time apart. The video also makes a larger statement about mass incarceration and men who are wrongfully convicted.

The video concludes with actual footage of Omarion’s real-life best friend Anthony “Boaner” Martinez getting released from prison where he is greeted by the singer and his family.

Despite the serious visual tone of the video, Omarion still made time to have fun. Earlier this week, the R&B crooner promoted the ‘Serious Dance Challenge‘ via Instagram and Tik Tok. The challenge is slowly picking up steam as his beloved fans upload their attempts.
