The grandson of the legendary Bob Marley, Jo Mersa Marley, passed away. The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, confirmed the tragic news via Twitter. He said,
“My heartfelt sympathies to Joseph’s friends and associates and to the Reggae music fraternity and fans everywhere. His untimely passing at the young age of 31y.o. is a huge loss to the music as we look to the next generation.” He continued,
“May he find Eternal Peace as we mourn his loss during this season of goodwill when we celebrate with family and friends our love for each other.”
An official cause of death hasn’t been released. People reports he was found dead in his car on December 27. Details developing..
Jo Mersa Marley took after his grandfather and perused a career in music. The last album he released was in 2021, called “Eternal.”
