Sheryl Lee Ralph Receives Jamaica’s Fourth Highest Honor

The awards just keep coming for actress Sheryl Lee Ralph! 

The Emmy Award winner was awarded the Order of Jamaica for her “sterling contribution as an actress, being a cultural ambassador of Jamaica and contribution to the international film industry,” Black Culture News reports

She posted about this honor on her Instagram page with the caption that read, “Well, it is now official! I am The Honourable Sheryl Lee Ralph OJ (Order of Jamaica) Warrior Woman! #Thisiswhatbelievinglookslike.” 

This latest honor comes after Lee Ralph won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the hit television show Abbott Elementary. She would go on to deliver a powerful acceptance speech, telling fans to never give up on their dreams. Watch the clip below.
