Last night the Hollywood stars took over downtown Los Angeles to turn up for and celebrate the 2019 BET Awards. Everyone from Tinseltown and politics and anything in between were there to show their love for the culture, and that they did.
Cardi B. and her hubby Offset set things off with their first-ever televised performance together, and they did it with a bang (literally). With fireworks blasting off in the background, the marital duo let the crowd know how much “clout” they have and why people are so “pressed” for Cardi.
Regina Hall hit the stage (as the host), and did it for her hometown with a go-go music set in honor of her native Washington D.C. And we can’t forget to mention Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ performance of “Old Town Road.”
