Last year, Tisha Campbell revealed that she was divorcing her estranged husband Duane Martin after 20 years of marriage.
She also filed new documents “demanding spousal support.” Now the “Martin” star has obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband after accusing him of emotional and physical abuse. According to TMZ, he allegedly abuse her repeatedly over the years, he even punched her in the chest. The actor is ordered to stay 100 yards away from her.
PageSix.com reports:
Tisha claims that in December, Duane “grabbed me by the arm to get me in the bedroom.” A police report was filed in January after the altercation. She is now speaking out about this part of their relationship because she “can no longer live in fear of retaliation.”
“I can no longer live in fear of retaliation,” she said. “The need [to] press criminal charges for his acts overshadows the embarrassment of making his crimes against me public through this report.”
No word from Tisha and Duane’s camp as of yet.
