Wendy Williams Won’t Return To Her Talk Show Top Of 2022, Guest Cohosts Will Continue To Host

Continue to keep the queen of daytime television, Wendy Williams, in your prayers. Her hiatus will continue in 2022.

She hasn’t returned to her talk show’s 13th season since last season. The show is still going on, and her celebrity friends have been filling in for her.

As reported on The Jasmine Brand, the show will go on in 2022, but without Wendy, for now. People like Remy Ma, Fat Joe, and Michael Rapaport are set to host for the new year.

Initially, Wendy planned on coming back when she was ready, but the producers of the show decided it was best if she continued to take care of her health issues. She’s been dealing with her ongoing battle with Graves’ disease. She also had COVID and had to get a psychological evaluation at a New York hospital.

Her last message to fans was on November 8. She said, “As everyone knows, my health has been a hot topic. I’m making progress, but it’s just one of those things that’s taking longer than we expected.”

Rumors swirled that Wendy was confined to a wheelchair and in the early stages of dementia. However, her brother Tommy Williams, the host’s younger brother, those claims were false.

“We haven’t had any alerts like that, and I haven’t seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that.”
