The Whitney Houston hologram tour will debut in 2020 internationally. BASE Hologram event has partnered with the late singer’s estate and already previewed the first image with Houston with a microphone, wearing blue jeans and a gold jacket.
“An Evening with Whitney” launches on January 23, 2020, in Mexico and will end in April. The North American shows will kick off in the fall.
According to RollingStone.com:
“An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” — which utilizes dancers, a live band and choreography from Fatima Robinson (Dreamgirls, The Academy Awards) — will feature the singer’s most famous hits, including “I Will Always Love You,” “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” “The Greatest Love of All” and “Higher Love.”
Houston’s longtime manager and sister-in-law, Pat Houston reveal that the show will be an interactive experience.
“Whitney is not with us, but her music will live with us forever. We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram. They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best.”
