Zendaya Becomes The Youngest Producer Nominated In Emmy History

Zendaya has made Emmy history! 

The actress serves as an executive producer on the HBO Max hit show “Euphoria”, which was nominated for the Outstanding Drama Series. Due to this recent nomination, Zendaya has become the youngest woman to receive a producing nomination. 

Along with this nod, the 25-year-old also received three other nominations including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and two nominations for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for season 2, episode 8’s “Elliot’s Song” and “I’m tired” from season 2, episode 4.

Zendaya won the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a Drama in 2020 for her role as Rue in Euphoria making her the youngest woman to win in that category. 

The full list of nominations was released earlier today and it includes Sanaa Lathan, Quinta Brunson, Issa Rae, Donald Glover, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tyler James Williams, and more. See the entire list here

The 74th Primetime Emmys are scheduled to air on Monday, September 12 at 8 pm on NBC as well as streaming live on Peacock for the first time ever.
