The family of Snoop Dogg is grieving a loss.
Over the weekend, Cori Broadus shared that her and fiancé Wayne Deuce’s 10-month-old baby girl Codi Dreaux has passed away.
Codi was born prematurely on January 6, died 20-days later after coming home from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
“Monday, I lost the love of my life,” Cori wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a photo with her baby girl. “My Codi.”

Wayne also grieved the passing of their daughter on his IG story, writing “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
When Codi finally made at home earlier this month, Cori thanked her followers for their prayers.

“She’s home,” the 26-year-old captioned Instagram post. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.
Cori announced Codi’s c-section arrival last February after giving birth at 25 weeks.
“The princess arrived at 6 months,” Cori wrote on Instagram at the time. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!”
At the hospital, Cori shared that doctors told her she had developed HELLP Syndrome, a pregnancy complication that affects the liver and blood system.
She claimed that if she “would’ve waited a few more days it would’ve been really bad
Fans poured in positive messages, on Cori’s post, after hearing of Codi’s passing.
“Sending my love to you all,” wrote one user.
“Sending prayers and love, I am so sorry,” added another.
“My prayers and thoughts goes out to you and your family 🤲🏾🕊️,” commented a third person.
“Sending love and positive energy to the whole family 🙏🏽,” said a fourth netizen.
