Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the lawyer of one of Diddy’s accusers, former porn star Adria English, has asked to be withdrawn from the case.

In a new court filing, Mitchell-Kidd said that English has given conflicting instructions “that made it unreasonably difficult for her to effectively represent her,” according to reports. The instructions were not disclosed due to attorney-client privilege.

The court document also revealed a breakdown of their attorney-client relationship and stated that there were irreconcilable differences between them from fundamental and ethical disagreements.

Mitchell-Kidd also said that she was forced to step away due to her client’s tone, lack of respect, and self-destructive activities. They signed their agreement on Sept 24, which was breached after English allegedly contacted a different law firm. The attorney said that her withdrawal “will not prejudice English in her plans to move forward.”

In July, Adria English filed a lawsuit against Diddy, Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabov, and Tamiko Thomas accusing them of sex trafficking her from 2004 to 2009. Her lawsuit states that she was chosen by Diddy because he “knew he could groom her.”

She also specifically spoke about her experiences at Diddy’s infamous White Parties, stating that she was ordered to drink “copious amounts of alcohol and consume illicit narcotics” and was later forced into sex work.

Adria English has since found a new lawyer to represent her and to move forward with her lawsuit.
