Sean “Diddy” Combs, the 55-year-old music mogul, will remain in custody until his trial begins on May 5, 2025. Court documents confirm that Combs voluntarily withdrew his latest bail appeal, following multiple previous denials.

Judge Denies Diddy Bail Requests Amid Serious Allegations

Combs has been behind bars since September when a grand jury indicted him on federal charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The indictment paints a damning picture, accusing Combs of running a “criminal enterprise” that facilitated years of abuse. According to the allegations, Combs “abused, threatened, and coerced” individuals to fulfill his desires and protect his reputation.

Federal Judge Arun Subramanian denied Combs’ most recent bail request on November 27, citing the severity of the charges and concerns for community safety. “No condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community,” the judge stated.

Tony Buzbee, representing multiple alleged victims, estimates that there may be as many as 300 cases against Combs. “Realistically, it will probably be about 100 to 150 cases,” Buzbee said, adding that his team has received over 3,000 calls from potential victims.

The allegations against Combs span decades and involve both men and women. Several lawsuits detail horrifying accounts of abuse at parties Combs allegedly organized, known as “Freak-Offs.” Victims allege they were drugged, sexually assaulted, and intimidated into silence.

One accuser claimed that Combs told them reporting to the police would make them “look like an idiot.” Another alleged that associates from his entourage made threatening calls to ensure their silence.

Combs’ attorneys have vehemently denied the allegations, labeling them “shameless publicity stunts.” They maintain their client’s innocence, stating, “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone.”

As the trial approaches, the legal battle promises to draw intense scrutiny. Diddy’s legal team expressed confidence in their defense, asserting that “the truth will prevail.”
