One thing Isiah Thomas is going to do is hold a grudge.
It been nearly 30-years since Thomas and Michael Jordan had been on the NBA court together, however it seems like the both men still have some unresolved issues. Thomas recently appeared on “The Draymond Green Show,” where he was asked if he could save his relationship with Jordan.
“Dude, no,” the former Detroit Pistons player said. “This dude got on international television and called me an a**hole. Somebody who has been good to him and until he apologizes on internation television ain’t no conversation.
He continued, “You can’t apologize and have a private dinner when you done embarrassed me publicly. Now if you meant it, let it stand. I’m good with that.”
If you remember, during Jordan’s 2020 documentary “The Last Dance,” the former Chicago Bulls player was asked about the 1991 walk out by Thomas and the Pistons at the end of the Eastern Conference. “Whatever he says now you know it wasn’t his true actions then. He’s had time to think about it. The reaction of the public has changed his perspective,” Jordan said.
He added, “You can show me anything you want, there’s no way you can convince me he wasn’t an a**hole.”
Do you think that Isiah Thomas will get his apology from Michael Jordan?
