Kevin Hart may be excluding some jokes about his daughter from his set from now on the next time he is on stage.

If you’ve watched previous comedy specials by Hart, it’s no secret that he does not shy away from joking about his children, Hendrix, 16, and Heaven, 19. However, Heaven doesn’t like to be the butt of her father’s jokes anymore.

During his 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper, the comedian and his daughter explained why the jokes about her would end. Cooper asked, “He’s told jokes about you on stage… What’s that like?” Heaven replied sarcastically, “Yeah. Well, you know. It’s great. It’s fantastic.”

Kevin would interject and tell her to tell the truth. “You’re lying. Tell the truth. You got mad at me.” Heaven continued, “Some of them suck. Some of them definitely sucked. Why is he blowing my business out there? He’s a little sneaky guy.”

The actor jokingly added, “It gives her a place to sleep. You know where her food comes from?” He went on to say that he has realized that he has to be mindful when it comes to his joke especially since she is growing up.

“The older she got, she got more vocal about what she liked and what she didn’t,” he said. “In all seriousness, as your kid grows older, you have to be a little more conscious.” See the clip below.
