Kim Porter’s father breaks his silence on the devastating video of Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway.
Since the release of the 2016 video, Porter’s father, Jake Porter, shares concern about what could’ve happen while she was in a relationship with Diddy. In an interview, he said, “You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that.”
He called the video footage of Diddy punching, kicking, and dragging Cassie to the ground “despicable.” Porter added, “I didn’t know he could stoop that low. I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”
Diddy and Kim Porter with in an on-again, off-again relationship from 1994 to 2007. They share three children together, Christian Combs, 26, and twin daughters, Jesse and D’Lila, 16. Kim also has a 33-year-old son, Quincy, with singer Al B. Sure. Kim Porter passed away in 2018 from lobar pneumonia.
Jake has admitted that he has never witnessed Diddy be abusive towards his daughter, he did say that the media mogul was a very jealous person. “They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate,” Porter said. “Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.”
In November, Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy citing sexual assault and more. Since then more victims have come forward accusing the Bad Boy Founder of sexual assault and more.
