Marlon Wayans has officially waved the white flag in his playful but highly publicized back-and-forth with 50 Cent. He is crediting his older brothers for talking some much-needed sense into him.

The comedic clash between him and the G-Unit rapper stemmed from Wayans’ comments about the Netflix Diddy docu-series produced by 50 Cent.
“Puff’s down on his luck, and 50’s kicking a man when he’s down. If luck ever turns on 50, you gotta be careful what you put out. There’s a karma to every action,” said Wayans on Real 92.3’s The Cruz Show.
The result of Wayans’ comments were lighthearted yet viral exchanges of jokes and memes between the two entertainers.
According to Wayans, Damon and Shawn Wayans weren’t exactly impressed. Speaking with KTLA, Marlon shared their blunt, but hilarious advice.

“My brothers, they were funny. Dame was like, ‘Why you pick the biggest brother? He’s on gamma rays. Stick to beefing with Soulja Boy, Kevin Hart — people that we can beat,’” Wayans said. “‘You fight him. Leave guys that got shot nine times alone. He survived nine!’”
Ultimately, Marlon chose peace.
“I always want to focus on positivity and fun,” he explained, noting that his energy is now locked in on his upcoming project, Scary Movie 6.
Wayans says he’s taking it so far that he won’t even say 50 Cent’s name in public anymore.
“If you ask me, ‘Hey, you got change for a dollar? I need a half a dollar! So you need a half a dollar.’ It rhymes with gifty.”
