Meagan Good is reteaming with Lifetime as an actress and executive producer. The new thriller I’ll Never Let You Go, premieres Saturday, August 16 at 8/7c

In the suspenseful drama, Good plays Emily Westover, a successful art gallery director grappling with empty nest syndrome after her daughter heads off to college. Struggling to reconnect with her husband (Thomas Cadrot), Emily finds herself drawn into a passionate affair with a charismatic Italian artist, Carlo (played by Antonio Cupo). But what begins as a fleeting escape quickly spirals into a nightmare.

As Deadline reports, Good’s prior collaborations with the network include Death Saved My Life (2021), Buying Back My Daughter (2023), and most recently, Terry McMillan Presents: Forever, working opposite Taye Diggs. She also recently concluded work as a series lead in the Prime Video series Harlem, which ran for three seasons from 2021 to 2025. Good is repped by The Gersh Agency and Atlas Artists.

On a personal note, Good has expressed wanting to grow a family with actor Jonathan Majors.

“I definitely am ready to have kids now,” the 43-year-old explained to U.S Weekly. “And then, my partner [is] someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already, but now we can do it together.”

She continued to note, “Two would be good,” when asked how many kids she hoped to have. Majors has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. Together, the newlyweds share multiple pets.
