“Euphoria” star Nika King has disclosed that she is facing some financial issues due to the show’s extended break.

In the hit show, King plays the role of Leslie Bennett, the mother of the main character Rue, played by Zendaya. During her recent standup performance, King talked about her frustrations with the series being delayed after the season 2 finale that aired on HBO Max two years ago.

She also spoke to fans who questioned the return of the show. The last season aired in February 2022. It was revealed that the show will make its comeback sometime in 2025. “Season 3 is coming out… I don’t f*****g know. DOn’t ask me. I don’t know,” the comedian said during her performance.

King continued, “People are like, ‘We need season 3!’ and I’m like, ‘B***h, I need season 3!’” She added, “I haven’t paid my rent in six months, and Zendaya’s over in Paris at Fashion Week, and I’m like, B***h, come home! I need you! Mama need you!’”

The actress explained, “I haven’t booked nothing since Euphoria. This is some bullsh*t. I thought my career was on the rise after Euphoria, I thought I was good. It don’t work that way. I called Taraji [P. Henson] and she was like, ‘B*tch, get used to it.’”

Hopefully “Euphoria” comes back soon.
