As many mourn the tragic passing of Nipsey Hussle, it has been reported that his suspected killer has been charged with murder.
Eric Holder, 29, was arrested for fatally shooting Hussle, and later charged. In addition, he was charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm.
Officials do not believe the killing was gang related. They do however, believe Holder and Hussle had a dispute prior to the tragic incident. It was reported that Holder approached Hussle multiple times at his store, “Marathon Clothing,” before he left and later returned with a gun.
Nipsey was not only a music artist from South L.A, he was also a well known community organizer and leader. We are keeping Nipsey’s family, fans, and loved ones in our prayers during this difficult time.
I will be heading to the House Floor next week to formally enter Nipsey Hussle’s contributions to South Los Angeles into the Congressional Record where it will be a part of United States history forever.
