This is sad news. Legendary actor Carl Weathers has reportedly passed away.
The actor best known for his role as Apollo Creed in the first four “Rocky” films passed away on Tuesday according to his manager Matt Luber. Aside from starring in the “Rocky” films, Weathers also starred in the 1987’s “Predator.” He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role in “The Mandalorian.”
Carl Weathers also had roles in “Toy Story,” “Arrested Development,” ‘Street Justice,” “Colony,” “Chicago Justice,” “Brothers,” and more films and TV shows. At the moment, there is no cause of death of the actor. He is survived by his ex-wife, Mary Ann, and their two sons.
