Congratulations are in order to Robyn Dixon and Juan Dixon who tied the knot…again!
Reports states that the Real Housewives of Potomac star remarried the former NBA player and that news will be revealed in the season 7 finale episode.
Sources also state that fans will see a different side of Robyn while details about the wedding will be revealed during the reunion special.
For most of this season, their wedding has been the topic of most conversations as many of her co-stars began to question if the wedding was still happening. During one of the recent episodes, the reality star informed her co-stars that she wanted a small wedding with just her husband and their two children, Corey and Carter.
“I don’t even know if I want a wedding. I don’t know if I need one, like, a traditional wedding. I’m going to keep it super simple… It’ll be just the four of us. We’re not telling anyone. It’s literally just the ceremony and that’s it. We don’t need mo cake, no reception- nothing,” Robyn said.
While taping her confessional she went on to say, “The thought of an actual wedding and all the pomp and circumstances that come with it, that doesn’t excite me. It just feels more special to do it privately, without worrying about everyone else and how they perceive it.”
Juan and Robyn Dixon met in high school and got married in 2005 and divorced in 2012. They remained living together as a way to better raise their children, although she was heavily criticized for her decisions.
In a previous interview, she talked about her living arrangements with her then ex-husband, “My kids, they didn’t even realize we were divorced,” she said. “They didn’t know we had gone through a rough time! They found out a lot of stuff about our relationship and our family from the show, because their friends are telling them. So then they come and tell us, ‘So why this? Why that?’ So I’d have to tell them, ‘We’re good, aren’t we? We’re good! Don’t worry about that.”
Robyn added, “I would find my cast mates or the fans more judgmental about my situation than us. It’s like, we understood it! It’s not for everyone to understand, but it’s life for us.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
