Stephen A. Smith caught a lot of backlash for his commentary on Rihanna’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance. While a guest on Sherri’s daytime talk show, Stephen said, “Ladies and gentlemen, Rihanna is a lot of things, she’s spectacular actually — and congratulations on the new mama hood — there’s one thing she’s not, she ain’t Beyoncé.” Stephen later apologized. The SuperBowl goes down on Feb 12.
Janet Jackson:
Janet Jackson’s former manager accuses the signer of stiffing him. Creditors Adjustment Bureau filed a lawsuit against Janet to collect a debt of over 200k. The creditor claims Janet owes David Weise and Associates money for a business management deal signed in 2017. Janet’s lawyer says the debt was settled years ago.
Taye Diggs:
Online users speculated Tay Diggs and Apryl Jones broke up after they unfollowed each other on social media. Taye let the world know he and Apryl are going strong! He posted a photo on social media with his boo stunting on the red carpet; see it now:
