Trey Songz has finally settled with the woman who accused him of sexual assault in 2016.

Reports state that the singer and the woman, identified as Jane Doe, sued him for $25 million, and settled for an undisclosed amount. Due to the settlement, the court will vacate the September 16 court date.

“The settlement agreement conditions dismissal of this matter on the satisfactory completion of specified terms that are not to be performed within 45 days of the date of the settlement,” the settlement read. “A request for dismissal will be filed no later than June 10, 2024.”

In February, Doe sued Songz, his manager, Kevin Lilies, Atlantic Records, and 300 Entertainment, and claimed that she was sodomized by the singer in 2016 at a party in Los Angeles. In the lawsuit, the “Love Lost” singer was accused of gender violence, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, sexual assault, and false imprisonment.

Around the same time, a rep for Trey Songz released a statement denying the allegations.” Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey,” the rep said. “Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client. It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.

This isn’t the first time that Songz has been accused of sexual assault. We reported that two women also filed a lawsuit against him for “engaging in heinous non-consensual sexual acts.”
