Tristan Thompson will be out of the game for a long time.
Reports stated that Thompson violated the NBA’s anti-drug program after testing positive for substances banned by the league. The league has suspended the Cleveland Cavaliers forward for 25 games.
The drugs that he tested positive for were SARM LGD-4033 and ibutamoren, which are considered to be performance enhancers used to improve their recovery and strength. Thompson’s suspension will begin on Wednesday, when his team is set to play against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Tristan Thompson has not addressed his suspension yet. He joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in September and switched his jersey number from 12 to 13 from when he first joined the team in 2011.
