Usher finally breaks his silence on his performance with Alicia Keys during his Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Last week, Usher gave a show stopping performance where he performed the 2004 hit “My Boo,” with Keys. Social media was quick to call out Usher for being too handsy with Alicia Keys especially because she’s married to producer Swizz Beatz.

During an interview, the “Superstar” singer said that their performance should not be viewed as “perverted.” He said, “I didn’t mean no disrespect to anybody or anything like that.” He went on to say that he, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys all laughed about the viral moment after the reactions started to circulate on social media.

After receiving a large amount of criticism, Swizz Beatz went on social media and said, “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing!!! Y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium?”

He continued, “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants! Congrats Usher and my love Alicia Keys, that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side, we make history. Go see GIANTS at the Brooklyn Museum. It’s open until July blessings.”
