Congratulations are in order!
It was recently reported that the legendary Eddie Murphy was in talks with Netflix for a $70 million stand-up comedy special.
Well, although Murphy didn’t quite confirm those rumors, during an appearance on Netflix’s Present Company with Krista Smith podcast, he did mention a tour. He said, “And then next year in 2020 I’m going to go on the road and do some strand-up.”
Now, the tour may be tapped for this rumored Netflix special, but Murphy aslo didn’t confirm that.
Murphy will be guest-hosting “Saturday Night Live” on Dec. 21 in his first full appearance on the show since 1984. On top of that, the comic is also set to appear in a “Coming To America” sequel.
