Serena Williams’ new baby is being welcomed to the world in style. The newborn was recently gifted a load of swag directly from Nike!
In a post on her Instagram story, she shared the delivery from her longtime partner brand. It included clothes and shoes for her newborn, Adira River.
“Look at all this stuff for baby Adira,” she begins her Instagram Story. “I really love the little Nike shoes, just always so sweet. Look at this little crop top!”
“It’s pretty awesome,” she concluded the video. “Thanks to my Nike family!”
This year has been quite the whirlwind for the couple and the new baby. The two announced the pregnancy the night of the Met Gala. First confirming in an interview at the event and then making a post on Instagram to share with followers.
“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” she said in the caption.
Months later, Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian posted a picture of their oldest babygirl holding their newest addition to the family as an announcement that she has arrived.
“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” he wrote in the caption. “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams, you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT.”
