For those who’ve been wondering what was really going on with Wendy Williams, wonder no more because the talk show host just dropped a bomb no one saw coming.
During a very emotional episode of The Wendy Williams Show, the radio-turned-television personality told millions of viewers, “I’m an open and truthful person, and I’ve got more to the story for you.” (The story she’s referring to is her prolonged absence from the talk show.)
“For some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house,” Williams said. “When you see me come to work glammed up — right after the show, I got across the street and do my pilates…you know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in my past and I never went to a place to get the treatment.”
Wendy tearfully continued, “After I go to pilates, I go to several meetings all around town in the Tri-state area…After I finish my appointments…I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to home I live in in the Tri-state.”
The talk show host goes on to give details of her living situation including the fact that doors are locked and lights are out by 10:00 p.m. every day.
