Sherri Shephard bade farewell to her daytime talk show ‘Sherri‘ after four years.

On the final episode, which aired Thursday, May 21, Niecy Nash stopped by as the final guest to surprise video tributes from Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey and more.

The next day, Shepherd posted a heartfelt video of herself standing next to empty, covered seats at the Sherri studio. The video also showed flashback moments of audience members clapping as she walked on out on set. The clip ended with her grabbing suitcases and exiting the set for the final time.

In her caption, she teased that the show’s cancellation is not the end of her and that she’s has another project stirring.

“Family!!!! Thank you so much for all of the love and support over these last 4 years,” Shepherd captioned her update. “It was a bittersweet end to a life I got to know so well. But here is to new beginnings…if you thought you were sick of me before, just you wait.”

In February 2026, Sherri‘s cancellation was announced after four seasons. The talk show premiered in September 2022, taking over the time slot of The Wendy William Show, which concluded that June.

Shepherd previously addressed the cancellation on air, saying she was “overwhelmed by the outpouring of love” she received after the news broke.

After giving her resounding thanks to her viewers, she added, “The intention of this show was always my prayer for you to leave happier than when you came. It has been my dream to have a talk show and I am so grateful I got the chance to do it for four seasons. I want to be clear, I’m not ready to throw in the towel on this show just yet. We’re going to be airing episodes all through the fall and we’re going to continue to fight to keep the show alive in some way, shape or form.”
