Deion Sanders’ Kids Shocked After Karrueche Reveals He Asked Doctors About Having More Children

Deion Sanders’ children appeared stunned after actress Karrueche Tran revealed a deeply personal conversation during his recent health journey.

The moment unfolded in the latest installment of For Your Glory, a documentary series released by Sanders’ son, Deion Sanders Jr. The series chronicles the football legend’s battle with bladder cancer and his recovery.

During one hospital scene, Tran recalled a surprising question Sanders asked his medical team while discussing the life-changing surgery.

“But he was asking something about you can still have kids,” Tran said. “Remember the doctor was talking to you about the changes.”

She continued, “The doctor… the first thing I asked was, ‘Can we still have kids?’” Sanders confirmed, prompting laughter and disbelief from family members gathered in the room.

Family Reacts to Unexpected Question

The exchange quickly shifted from a serious medical discussion to lighthearted family banter.

Several of Sanders’ children appeared visibly surprised by the revelation. Their reactions suggested they did not expect their father to raise the possibility of expanding his family while facing major surgery.

The conversation became one of the most talked-about moments from the documentary after clips circulated widely across social media.

Although the discussion sparked speculation online, neither Sanders nor Tran indicated they were actively planning to have children together.

Instead, the exchange highlighted Sanders’ optimism despite confronting a difficult cancer diagnosis and an operation that permanently altered his body.

The documentary offers viewers an intimate look inside the emotional days leading up to surgery. It also showcases the support system surrounding the University of Colorado football coach.

Tran played a prominent role throughout the hospital footage.

She explained the seriousness of Sanders’ condition while becoming emotional on camera.

“We are at the hospital because we are dealing with bladder cancer,” she said through tears. “He’s having his bladder removed and they will create a new bladder with one of his intestines.”

She added, “This option was, I guess, the best because it fully removes the cancer to ensure it won’t come back because it was close to his muscle.”

Recovery and Relationship Draw Attention

Sanders later revealed he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier in the year before undergoing surgery to remove his bladder.

Doctors reconstructed a new bladder using part of his intestine.

Following the procedure, Sanders announced he was cancer-free.

The documentary also documented the emotional toll of the diagnosis.

“I had to make a will,” Sanders said before surgery. “That’s not easy, at all, to think that you might not be there, but you want to make sure everybody is straight.”

Tran remained by Sanders’ side throughout the ordeal.

She held his hand as he was wheeled into surgery and later celebrated alongside family members after the successful procedure.

Her presence fueled months of speculation about the pair’s relationship.

Sanders has since spoken publicly about Tran’s importance in his life, praising her support during his recovery.

He credited her with helping him remain positive throughout the cancer battle.

“She was there,” Sanders said in a later interview. “She held me down. She kept me upright. She kept me straight. Kept me positive.”

While fans continue to speculate about the couple’s future, neither Sanders nor Tran has announced any plans to have children.

For now, the documentary’s unexpected fertility discussion has simply offered another glimpse into Sanders’ humor and outlook during one of the most challenging chapters of his life.
